FemIQ – Privacy Notice (Beta)

What we collect
Cycle dates, symptoms and logs you enter, fertility/ovulation test results, and any pictures you upload for test progression tracking. We also store your account details (email, registration date).
Where it’s stored
Your data is stored in our database (Supabase), hosted on AWS servers in Frankfurt, Germany — within the EU. AI-generated insights are processed by Mistral (a French AI provider); your data is not used to train their models.
No tracking
FemIQ doesn’t use commercial tracking, cookies, analytics, or newsletters. We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers.
Your rights
You can download a copy of your data or delete your account at any time, directly in the app under [Settings/Account].
Special note on health data
Cycle and fertility data counts as sensitive health information under EU law (GDPR). We only use it to run FemIQ’s features — nothing else.

Terms of Service (Private Beta)

1. What FemIQ Is
FemIQ is a private, invite-only beta test of a cycle and fertility tracking app. It is not a commercial product, not for sale, and not available to the general public. By using FemIQ, you understand you are participating in an early-stage test, not using a finished service.
2. Not Medical Advice
FemIQ provides general information and predictions for informational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns, including fertility and contraception decisions.
3. No Guarantee of Accuracy
As a beta product, predictions, insights, and features may be inaccurate, incomplete, or malfunction. Do not rely on FemIQ as your only record of your cycle — please keep your own backup.
4. Your Data
See the Privacy Notice above for full details on what we collect and how it's handled. In short: your data is stored securely in the EU, never sold, never used for advertising, and you can download or delete it at any time from within the app.
5. No Warranty
FemIQ is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it running and secure, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and features may be paused, changed, or discontinued at any time — including the entire beta.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, FemIQ and its creator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to reliance on predictions or insights. Use is at your own discretion.
7. Beta Testers, Not Customers
This beta is offered free of charge to invited testers. There is no subscription, no purchase, and no ongoing commercial relationship.
8. Ending the Beta
The beta may be paused or ended at any time, with your data remaining downloadable/deletable by you until that point, per the Privacy Notice.
